Charles Guillemet spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 as Chief Technology Officer of Ledger. On 3 June he joined “DeFi Under Attack: Securing Onchain Finance and the Machine Economy” on the Hecto Main Stage. Kostas Chalkias, Rodrigo Coelho and Jason Jiang were the other panellists, and Nikola Stojanow moderated the session. The programme linked the discussion to tokenisation and crypto AI, recording a specific security context for his appearance without supplying a transcript of his remarks.
Ledger's published appointment announcement described the CTO role as combining technology responsibilities with continued oversight of security operations, bringing the two teams closer together. It also described the Ledger Donjon's evaluation work across the company's own products and other manufacturers' devices, including physical, software and side-channel security testing. Those were descriptions of a team's work; they do not establish an individual achievement for attribution in this profile.
The security discussion continued in a dated appearance after the summit. Ledger’s official podcast episode published on 14 September 2026 identified Guillemet as CTO and paired him with Mo El-Sayed, the company’s Head of Brand Development. Its published description addressed how AI changes the cost of discovering security vulnerabilities, the differences between secure hardware and connected software, and the ethics of finding flaws at machine speed. The episode adds a dated public source for his role and for subjects he discussed later in the year.
A separate alphalist CTO podcast episode, published on 17 September 2026, also identified him as Ledger's CTO. Its episode description addressed vulnerability discovery, security by design, key management and AI engineering. Read together, the two September listings connect his June security-panel billing to a later public discussion of how AI changes security research. Neither listing is treated here as evidence that he made those same statements on the Proof of Talk stage.
