Christine Lee spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 as Advisor, Quantena AG, moderating two sessions at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Louvre Palace. On 2 June, the opening day, she moderated a fireside on the Hecto Main Stage, "Beyond Stablecoins: Mastercard and the Future Rails of Agentic Commerce", with Ken Moore. Proof of Talk's announcement of the session framed its question as how trust is built when machines, not humans, initiate transactions. On 3 June, she moderated a Taostats Stage panel, "Building Sustainable Yield in DeFi: Lending, Liquidity and Risk", with Tuongvy Le, Xiao-Xiao J. Zhu and Travis Hayes.

Lee is a financial journalist and a lawyer called to the bar of Upper Canada. According to CoinDesk's author biography, she worked at Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and ProPublica before CoinDesk, and her contributions at ProPublica were part of the work awarded the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. Her LinkedIn profile describes that series as exposing nuisance abatement laws used by the NYPD to evict minorities, and says the work led the New York City Council to pass 13 bills to change the law. She studied at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, and lists the FINRA Securities Industry Exam among her certifications.

At CoinDesk she was a senior anchor. She anchored and produced First Mover, broadcast live from New York at 9am ET each weekday, and hosted All About Bitcoin, a 3pm ET markets programme. On LinkedIn she writes that she is no longer with CoinDesk after nearly five years there. In June 2026 she debuted as an anchor at BNN Bloomberg, where, by her own profile's account, she leads coverage of Canadian business news.

Earlier in 2026, on 19 January, she moderated a panel at Web3 Hub Davos, "Digital Infrastructure for Returns: The Unlocking of Institutional Yield", again billed as Advisor, Quantena. Quantena AG is a company registered in Zug, Switzerland, which describes itself as a venture builder specialising in blockchain technology and trading systems.
