Eleanor Terrett is a journalist and co-host of Crypto In America, a podcast and newsletter covering the intersection of cryptocurrency, American policy and the digital asset industry. She spoke three times at Proof of Talk Paris 2026. On 2 June she gave the Opening Speech on the Hecto Main Stage at 10:20 with Michael del Castillo, and at 11:45 that morning she moderated the fireside "The Great Crossover: Asset Management for the Onchain Investor", putting the questions to Franklin Templeton chief executive Jenny Johnson and Blockstream co-founder Adam Back. The Closing Speech at 17:55 on 3 June was hers too, from the same stage and again with del Castillo.
Before that came nine years at Fox Business. She entered television production the summer before her final year of college, attending class at her Virginia alma mater during the week and working in Manhattan at weekends, and joined the network as a production assistant printing scripts and steering guests to hair and makeup. By September 2020 she was its New York Stock Exchange producer, working with market reporters to write and produce segments from the trading floor. Four of her nine years there were spent covering crypto policy alongside Charles Gasparino, and her bylines for the network run to 4 February 2025.
The Crypto In America newsletter launched on 12 March 2025, promising scoops, breaking news and analysis at the intersection of Web3 and Washington every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; through mid-2026 it has run closer to twice a week. The podcast posted a trailer on 10 March 2025 and a first full episode on 19 March 2025, an interview with SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, head of the agency's Crypto Task Force. The publication's About page names Terrett, Jacquelyn Melinek and Gerald Gallagher as its cohosts and describes an original podcast and newsletter powered by Sei; the first episode thanked Sei for making the show possible and recent episodes carry a Sei sponsorship credit. Terrett kept filing through the Paris edition itself, reporting the launch of Defend Developers PAC on 3 June 2026 from details shared first with Crypto in America. She writes for Decrypt as well, most recently on 31 August 2026.
