The full account.
Henry Jim is an ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence. That billing was current on 25 August 2026, when he appeared on Inside Active, Bloomberg Intelligence's podcast on active management, in an episode titled "Bloomberg's Jim on Europe's Active ETF Outlook". Speaking with the host David Cohne, a mutual fund and active management analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, Jim discussed what is driving the rapid expansion of Europe's active ETF market and why that market's development is likely to differ from the United States. The episode's premise is that rising product launches in Europe do not by themselves signal broad investor adoption.
Jim came to analysis from ETF product development. By his own account on his site, he is a senior ETF product developer who has launched over 100 ETFs in the United States, Canada, Latin America and the UK, spanning global equity and fixed income funds, non-indexed and currency-hedged products, factor ETFs, and tax-sheltered private equity and venture capital vehicles. That account is undated and names neither the firms nor the years.
Jim publishes HEARSAY, which he expands as Henry's ETF Alert, Research, and Strategic Analysis sYstem, a running record of new ETF filings and product launches at etfhearsay.com. An earlier Blogger edition of the same project, kept by an author in London writing on iShares and SPDR products, carries a post dated 11 May 2020.
At Proof of Talk Paris 2026, Jim moderated the panel "Scaling the Distribution Layer for Tokenised Markets" on the Hecto Main Stage, from 11:40 to 12:20 on 3 June, the summit's second day. The panellists were Johann Kerbrat, Tom Zschach, Nikhil Sharma and Stani Kulechov. Jim chaired that session rather than arguing a position in it, and the programme records no other appearance for him at the edition.
