Johann Kerbrat spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 as SVP and GM of Crypto at Robinhood. He took part in “Scaling the Distribution Layer for Tokenised Markets”, a panel on the Hecto Main Stage from 11:40 to 12:20 on 3 June, within the Tokenisation of Finance track. Tom Zschach, Nikhil Sharma and Stani Kulechov were the other panellists; Henry Jim moderated. The programme placed a consumer brokerage executive alongside participants working on institutional markets and decentralised lending.
Kerbrat’s current remit includes international business as well as crypto. Robinhood’s announcement of 1 July 2026 identifies him as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Crypto and International, a title also recorded by Tech Talent Canada in September. This current role is separate from his June conference billing.
Robinhood announced the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain on 1 July, after the Paris summit. Built using the Arbitrum Platform, the network is an Ethereum Layer 2. The company presented Stock Tokens as available through Robinhood Wallet to eligible users in more than 120 countries, with availability varying by jurisdiction. Its announcement described trading around the clock and using tokens elsewhere in the decentralised finance ecosystem.
A Crypto Coin Show interview published on 29 September returned to how that distribution model works in practice. The episode covered transaction fees and network health, the relationship between tokenised stocks and liquidity, and Robinhood’s choice between developing products internally and working with partners. Its published description records Kerbrat discussing Robinhood covering gas fees for its wallet users and keeping fees high enough to deter spam while low enough for trading. The interview extends the profile beyond the chain’s launch to the operating decisions involved in connecting a brokerage audience with onchain markets.
