The Biography

The full account.

Joris Delanoue was listed in the Proof of Talk Paris 2026 speaker roster as Co-Founder and CEO of Fairmint. The archived edition took place on 2 and 3 June at the Louvre Palace. His profile connects the Paris roster with his work on equity recordkeeping, programmable securities and the infrastructure used by private companies to manage ownership.

Delanoue co-founded Fairmint with Thibauld Favre in 2019. The company develops infrastructure for issuing, managing and transferring equity onchain. Its work includes the Open Cap Table Protocol, which represents capitalisation-table information through smart contracts. Fairmint’s January 2026 announcement described executive appointments across legal, communications and product functions as part of its expansion into institutional equity infrastructure. The release identified Delanoue as co-founder and chief executive.

In February 2026, Delanoue submitted written input to the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Crypto Task Force on behalf of Fairmint. The submission proposed changes to investor accreditation, including knowledge-based qualification and eligibility tied to a verified relationship with a particular company. It also discussed portable credentials and pre-trade enforcement as possible components of programmable securities. These were Fairmint’s policy proposals, rather than rules adopted by the Commission.

Delanoue was elected a General Director of the Canton Foundation in December 2025. The Foundation’s public leadership materials also identify him as Fairmint’s co-founder and CEO. They describe his work across public blockchain infrastructure and privacy-enabled networks for private companies and institutional finance.

Across those activities, Delanoue’s professional focus is the connection between ownership records and the systems that act on them. His documented work covers company equity administration, common data structures and policy proposals for using blockchain-based records in capital markets.

The next Proof of Talk is in Abu Dhabi.
