Joseph Bruzzesi

Joe Bruzzesi is General Partner at Raptor Digital, a Boston-based venture firm, formerly known as RW3 Ventures, that invests in blockchain and artificial intelligence. Bloomberg reported in October 2025 that the firm was launched in 2021, under its previous name, when Raptor Group, the family office of Jim Pallotta, partnered with two former executives of the crypto infrastructure company BitGo: Pete Najarian and Bruzzesi.

Raptor Group and Raptor Digital are distinct. In February 2024 Fortune reported the close of RW3's first fund, a $60 million vehicle led by Raptor Group with significant support from Mubadala, one of Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth funds, and Najarian told the magazine that RW3 was a separate entity from Raptor that benefited from the family office's network. Fortune billed Bruzzesi as an RW3 partner and reported him saying that the firm's focus was on real-world use cases for blockchain. The early deals it named included Rymedi, CAT Labs, Gunzilla and Titan Content.

In October 2025 Bloomberg reported that Raptor Digital was seeking $200 million for a second fund, with Raptor Group as a major backer, after returning capital to investors in its debut vehicle. It put the portfolio at more than three dozen companies, among them the AI chip developer Cornami and the digital asset recovery firm CAT Labs.

At Proof of Talk Paris 2026, Bruzzesi took part in two sessions. On 2 June he was among the participants in Proof of Pitch, General Track, on the Taostats Stage; the organisers' release of 11 June 2026 names "Joe Bruzzesi of Raptor Digital" on that track's jury. On 3 June he spoke on the Hecto Main Stage in "The Tokenisation of Everything: RWAs, Institutions, and the Next Market Structure", a panel moderated by Yana Prikhodchenko, alongside Julien Clausse, John Nahas and Nenter Chow.

Proof of Talk's report "The State of Web3 Capital 2026", based on more than 200 applications to Proof of Pitch 2026 and a survey of 13 Web3 venture funds, quoted him, as BeInCrypto reported on 30 June 2026. "Tokenization is no longer theoretical," he said. "Stablecoins proved it at a record $322 billion in circulation, and RWAs followed." Metaverse Post reported the same day his observation that investors were increasingly underwriting "real revenue and adoption" and backing companies rather than tokens.
