Keli Callaghan, a partner at Arrington Capital, spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 on a panel about what Web3 venture still funds. She joined the firm in 2022 from Algorand, where she was most recently chief marketing officer.

Keli Callaghan joined Arrington Capital as a partner in July 2022. The digital-asset investment firm was founded in 2017 by Michael Arrington and Heather Harde; its announcement of her appointment said it had over $1 billion under management and had invested in hundreds of startups.
Before Arrington Capital, Callaghan worked at Algorand, the layer-1 blockchain. She joined in 2018 and, according to the firm's announcement, was responsible for all aspects of its marketing and communication from inception; she was most recently its chief marketing officer. Earlier, she held leadership roles at technology companies including Avid, Sprint, Zmags and Rez1, where, per the same announcement, her work included channel sales and marketing, go-to-market positioning and strategy, and leading cross-functional teams. She holds a degree in marketing communications and business ethics from Fairfield University and an MBA from Boston College.
The relationship predates the appointment. Announcing it, Michael Arrington wrote that the firm had met Callaghan in 2019, when it first invested in Algorand, and had worked with her "countless times on events and product launches." Callaghan said she was "thrilled to be joining a powerhouse of defi" in the Arrington Capital team. CoinDesk's Consensus 2025 speaker page described her work at the firm as evaluating investments, supporting portfolio companies and driving fund projects.
At Proof of Talk Paris 2026, held 2–3 June at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in the Louvre Palace, Callaghan spoke as a partner at Arrington Capital. On day two, 3 June, she sat on the Taostats Stage panel "Web3 Venture in 2026: What Still Gets Funded" with Andy Tang, Leeor Groen and James Wo, moderated by Marc Baumann. That afternoon she took part in "Proof of Pitch - Canton Track" on the X Ventures Masterclass Stage, alongside Leeor Groen, Danish Chaudhry and Yiannis Varelas. On LinkedIn, Callaghan has described judging that Canton Track, in which six Canton-native infrastructure startups pitched to investors.
