Maha Al-Saadi appeared at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 with an independent billing. Her work spans financial regulation, compliance and the development of digital-asset markets. Money20/20 Middle East’s programme for 16 September 2026 identified her as an independent Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Expert.
A dated OMFIF roundtable on 8 April 2026 identified Al-Saadi as Head of Regulatory Affairs at Qatar Financial Centre and paired her with Shaun Swan of the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority. Its published subject was Qatar’s approach to tokenising financial instruments, including legal recognition of tokens, real-world assets, regulatory engagement and market readiness. A September 2026 PECB organiser announcement separately described her previous QFC regulatory-affairs work and compliance experience at Bankhaus Scheich. Her Paris session paired stablecoins and tokenisation with credit-market perspectives. PECB’s September announcement also listed her work with Global Women in AI, the MENA Fintech Association’s Policy and Regulation Working Group, and the Global Blockchain Business Council. It scheduled her for a discussion of deepfake identity checks, AI detection and human verification at its October conference in Rome.
At Proof of Talk Paris 2026, Maha Al-Saadi took part in the panel "Where Stablecoins Meet Credit: Rewiring Finance Through Tokenisation" on 3 June. The session ran from 12:25 to 13:00 on the Hecto Main Stage at the Louvre Palace. The programme also listed Anthony Bassili, Chris Cox and Francesco Filia. The moderator was Michael del Castillo. In that edition’s roster, Anthony Bassili was billed with Coinbase Asset Management; Chris Cox was billed with Citi; Francesco Filia was billed with Fasanara Capital; Michael del Castillo was billed with Media Luna Creations.
The next Proof of Talk is in Abu Dhabi.
