Matthew Felice Pace

Matthew Felice Pace co-founded Simply Staking, a Malta-based blockchain infrastructure company, in 2018. When The Malta Chamber welcomed Pace as a member in February 2024, its note described more than a decade in academia and technical roles before the company was founded, and recorded that Pace had led Simply Staking as chief executive and helped grow it into a 40-person operation in blockchain infrastructure provision and development. In a LinkedIn post the same month, Pace thanked the Centre for DLT at the University of Malta and noted that three of Simply Staking's professionals held its Master's in Distributed Ledger Technologies. Chainlink's SmartCon 2025, held on 4–5 November 2025, listed Pace as a speaker and as CEO of Simply Staking.

On 4 June 2025 Simply Staking launched its RPC and node service, SpectrumNodes.com, with more than 150 networks supported. On 24 August 2026 Simply Staking announced that it had become Simply Labs, with Spectrum Nodes, Pegasus, SimplyLedger and Simply Staking as its four products, and described Spectrum Nodes as serving more than one billion requests a day across more than 200 networks. That announcement names Isaac Zarb as chief executive of Simply Labs.

Pace spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026, held on 2–3 June at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Louvre Palace, as CEO of Spectrum Nodes. Spectrum Nodes hosted that edition's Proof of Pitch startup competition, with BPI France as co-host and Hecto as title partner. On 2 June Pace took part in the Proof of Pitch General Track on the Taostats Stage, alongside Rob Hadick, Diogo Mónica, Alice Li, Joseph Bruzzesi, Andy Tang, Simon Dedic and Viktor Y.; the organisers' results release of 11 June 2026 lists Pace on the General Track jury. On 3 June Pace spoke on the panel "How Institutions Actually Access Tokenised Assets" on the Taostats Stage, moderated by Xavier Gomez, with Fabian Dori, Julian Sawyer and Moritz Platt. Later that day Pace appeared with Andy Tang and Viktor Y. on the Hecto Main Stage for the Proof of Pitch winner announcement. The results release names ReplyCorp as winner of the General Track and Parthenon as winner of the Canton Track, and quotes Pace as saying that the hardest part for an early team is getting in front of the right investors, and that this is what the stage does.
