Nenter Chow, who also uses the name Nathan Chow, spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 as Global CEO of BitMart. On 3 June 2026 Chow appeared on the Hecto Main Stage panel "The Tokenisation of Everything: RWAs, Institutions, and the Next Market Structure", alongside Julien Clausse, John Nahas and Joseph Bruzzesi, in a session moderated by Yana Prikhodchenko.
Chow came to digital assets from traditional finance. BitMart's April 2025 appointment announcement credited Chow with more than 17 years in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, MUFG and ICBC, and a 2026 speaker biography published by LEAP EAST also names Bank of China among those firms. A BitMart release from November 2025 said Chow had been an early investor in bitcoin and ethereum from 2016 and left Wall Street in 2022.
That year Chow moved to Animoca Brands as a Partner at Animoca Ventures. BitMart's announcement said Chow led investments in projects including Monad, The Open Network, Berachain and Titan Content, and the Paris Blockchain Week 2026 speaker biography describes the remit as venture and liquid Web3 investments across infrastructure, DeFi and consumer sectors.
BitMart appointed Chow Global CEO in April 2025, when founder Sheldon Xia moved to the role of Group President. In November 2025 BitMart announced that Chow had joined the Forbes Business Council. Through the first half of 2026 Chow was billed as BitMart's Global CEO by conference organisers including Paris Blockchain Week.
The Block reported on 26 July 2026 that Chow said the company had given notice on 24 July 2026 that the employment as Global CEO was being terminated. On 26 July 2026 BitMart announced an orderly wind-down of its trading platform, with trading scheduled to end on 26 August 2026. Chow said publicly that there had been no consultation on that decision and that news of it arrived only when it became public. No dated source seen at the time of writing confirms a subsequent role.
