Pete Rizzo spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 as a journalist and Bitcoin researcher whose work spans the history of the network and its use on corporate balance sheets. Bitcoin Treasuries named him president and partner in its announcement of 9 August 2025, describing earlier editorial roles at CoinDesk and Bitcoin Magazine. A company announcement on 3 February 2026 again identified him as president when Bitcoin Treasuries acquired the Treasury Orange podcast and appointed Tyler Rowe to host its flagship show. His own website separately identifies him as President of Bitcoin Treasuries and Founding Editor of CoinDesk.
Rizzo’s published work includes archival research into the people and events behind Bitcoin’s development. On 23 January 2026 his website announced The Bitcoin Historian podcast, with interviews examining the network and its changing financial context. Bitcoin Treasuries’ February announcement set out a complementary editorial brief: combine corporate holdings data and research reports with interviews about treasury structures, digital credit and shareholder alignment. His editorial work brings historical reporting together with analysis of corporate Bitcoin ownership, treasury structures and the financing models discussed in contemporary digital-asset markets.
At Proof of Talk Paris 2026, Pete Rizzo moderated the panel "Rebuilding Bitcoin’s Financial Stack: From Payment Rails to Programmable Value" on 2 June. The session ran from 11:35 to 12:10 on the Taostats Stage at the Louvre Palace. The programme also listed Rena Shah, Ben Milne and Chad Master. In that edition’s roster, Rena Shah was billed with Stacks Endowment; Ben Milne was billed with Brale; Chad Master was billed with OP_NET.
The next Proof of Talk is in Abu Dhabi.
