Siam Kidd appeared at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 on “Subnets as an Asset Class: Building the On-Ramps for Institutional Capital”. The Paris roster billed Kidd as Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of DSV Fund. The panel ran on 2 June from 17:35 to 18:15 on the Taostats Stage at the Louvre Palace, with Victor Teixeira recorded as moderator.
Kidd’s professional record at the time also included Astrid Intelligence. In its directorate announcement of 4 March 2026, published through the Aquis exchange, Astrid stated that Kidd would assume the role of Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. A separate Paris Blockchain Week 2026 speaker biography identified Kidd as both DSV Fund’s founder and CIO and Astrid’s CEO. The sources distinguish the two organisations and the roles attached to them.
Astrid’s March announcement described the company as a UK-headquartered decentralised AI business developing and operating autonomous AI systems. It placed the company’s activity within Bittensor, where participants contribute computing resources, data and models. This was the company’s description of its operating focus. The company described network participation as part of its operations, linking autonomous AI systems to resources contributed by participants in the wider ecosystem.
DSV’s own team page separately identified Kidd as Chief Investment Officer and placed that investment function alongside executive, operating and finance roles. That context is distinct from Astrid’s listed-company operations. The Paris programme used the fund affiliation to locate Kidd within a discussion of the routes by which institutions might engage with subnets.
Other participants listed for the Proof of Talk panel were Frank Schuil, Evan Malanga and James Altucher. The programme connects those appearances to a specific date, stage and discussion format. The session brought fund and company perspectives into one discussion about subnet participation. Kidd’s appearance used the DSV Fund affiliation, while the dated Astrid appointment documents the additional executive role held around the same edition.
The next Proof of Talk is in Abu Dhabi.
