Travis Hayes

Travis Hayes spoke at Proof of Talk Paris 2026 as Head of Capital Markets at Temple, the trading venue operated by Temple Digital Group on the Canton Network. Temple's own About page, in archived versions dated from January to May 2026, listed Hayes on its five-person executive team under the title HoCM, alongside the company's chief executive, chief strategy officer, chief technology officer and chief commercial officer.

At the June 2026 edition, Hayes took two different roles on the Taostats Stage. On 2 June, Hayes moderated the panel "Institutional Yield in Crypto: From Bitcoin Strategies to Onchain Vaults", chairing a discussion with Sunand Raghupathi, Karl Naim, Dr. Martin Derka and Evan Feng. On 3 June, Hayes sat as a panellist on "Building Sustainable Yield in DeFi: Lending, Liquidity and Risk", alongside Tuongvy Le and Xiao-Xiao J. Zhu, in a session moderated by Christine Lee.

Temple Digital Group is headquartered in New York and says it was founded in 2025. It describes its aim as building a native trading platform, global asset registry and issuance platform for Canton. The company announced a $5 million seed round led by Paper Ventures on 16 October 2025 and opened its platform for trading on 8 January 2026, starting with a single Canton Coin/USDCx pair and support for non-custodial wallets. In May 2026 it announced a strategic funding round led by SBI Group.

In July 2026, DTCC named Temple Digital Group among more than 30 firms that took part in its tokenization activity. Temple reported that, as part of that work, a tokenized US Treasury security was financed against Circle's tokenized cash, USDCx, in an intraday repo arranged through Temple's request-for-quote platform, with DRW and HIFI trading as principals and Marex acting as prime broker and settlement agent. Temple's public announcements of these milestones speak for the company and do not describe the part played by any individual executive.
