What Proof of Talk is
Proof of Talk is an invitation-only executive summit for capital, digital assets and AI, staged inside the Louvre. It was founded in 2023 and is organised by X Ventures. Two editions run each year: the annual flagship at the Louvre Palace in Paris, and the Gulf edition at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Admission is by application rather than ticket sale — every pass is reviewed, the room is capped, and no speaking slot is ever sold.
The room, not the conference
Proof of Talk was built on a single observation: every meaningful deal in this industry happens in rooms of fifty or fewer. Most industry events optimise for scale — more attendees, more exhibitors, more stages. This one optimises for who is actually in the room, and caps everything else to protect it.
That is why attendance is capped rather than sold, why partnership is capped at 45 rather than several hundred, and why the programme runs on one venue instead of a city-wide sprawl of side events. The constraint is the product.
No pay-to-speak
No speaking slot at Proof of Talk is for sale, at any price, to any partner. Every name on the stage is there because the programme wanted them — which is why 95% of speakers are sitting chief executives or founders rather than whoever bought the largest package.
This is the rule the rest of the format depends on. A stage that can be bought produces a room that reflects budgets; a stage that cannot produces one that reflects the industry.
Two editions
One brand, two rooms, both inside a Louvre. Paris is the original and the larger; Abu Dhabi is the inaugural Gulf edition, opening in December 2026. They share a format, a set of rules and a standard of admission — not a programme.
| Edition | Role | Venue | Dates | Capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Abu Dhabi | Gulf edition | Louvre Abu Dhabi | 3–4 Dec 2026 | 2,000, capped |
| Paris | Annual flagship | Paris, The Louvre Palace | 2–3 June 2027 | 2,500, capped |
Who is in the room
The room is built for decision-makers and capped so it stays that way. Attendance skews overwhelmingly senior — chief executives, founders, institutional investors and asset managers — and the Paris edition has sold out three years running.

The programme
Beyond the main stage, the summit runs a set of dedicated tracks and side programmes, each with its own room and its own audience.
| Programme | What it is |
|---|---|
| Proof of Pitch | The startup competition — 600+ applications, winners pitching on the Main Stage. |
| Stable Day | A dedicated programme on stablecoins, payments, tokenisation and digital dollar infrastructure. |
| Proof of Capital | The investor track — allocators, funds and asset managers. |
| Bittensor | The decentralised-AI track. |
| Canton | The institutional privacy and settlement track. |
| Proof of Excellence | The awards programme recognising work across the industry. |
| Golf Prelude | An invitation-only retreat the day before the Paris flagship opens. |
How to attend
You do not buy a pass — you apply for one, and a person reviews it. Applications are assessed on seniority and relevance to the programme, and because the room is capped, a good application can still arrive too late. There is no public ticket sale and no admission on the door.
Partnership works the same way and is capped at 45 for the Abu Dhabi edition. Enquiries go through the partners page.
Who runs it
Proof of Talk is organised by X Ventures, a venture studio and fund. The first edition was held in Paris in June 2023; the 2026 Paris edition was the fourth, and the Gulf edition opens in December 2026.
Press and media enquiries go through the media page; everything else through contact.
